I thought that if there wasn't sufficient numbers of students to create a class, that course would be dropped from the school syllabus and the student would have to learn it outside of school.

mine used to have ee1 only two people did it, and there were hardly any class lets sum it up to hmm lets say no class and guess who came first in that subject. both the guys who did the subject came first lol..

Not first in anything as of yet, which has got me down a little lately, because I'm capable of it (in most subjects.. perhaps not chemistry =)
But my rank moved up 12 places in my last english assessment task, finally. Smashed everyone, and got top of the grade by a decent amount, YAY! Starting to get a move on =D I was first for the whole year in year 10, and 4th in prelim (even with a shitty preliminary mark). So that was good. But all downhill this year.
It took me a really long time to work out that this was actually serious, and I couldn't just put in a half assed effort the night before and hope for the best- people are actually working their asses off. That sounds stupid, but for some reason, it took a really long time to sink in.
I'm 6th/approximately 36 for Bio.
6th/30+ for PDHPE.
10/19 for Chemistry- ew. But hopefully my next assessment (tomorrow) will improve that.
Shit in Studies of Religion, can't remember the actual rank, but it's not good.
But I've been working really hard on my next assessment, and its going to be great. =D Lol, what a took I am.
Senior Science I'm ranked first, so I just realised I lied at the start. But it doesn't really count, cause my class is practically special ed (except a couple).
And English is still a bit embarrassing, so I'm not going to post that till it has further improved, lol. But it will improve! =D
Yay!
Sudden burst of self esteem and motivation and such.
2 assessments tomorrow though. Gay.

Hey, just thought I'd clear this up. We started year 11 with about 10 or 11 of us, and slowly but surely its dwindled down to me. Thats why I'm the only one. And I'm glad someone found my EE1 joke funny!!

aims:

ancient - hang onto fourth.

biology - to smash the trial and hopefully get up to 2nd.

english - the one thing our cohort is really good at is english, so it'll be difficult but hanging onto that rank would be good.

business - with some work i think i could get up to at least 2nd.

italian - furthering the lead would be good.

we haven't done our trials yet, but our last assessment (after i posted this) in biology knocked me down to equal sixth our trial is the last assessment. hopefully i can get back to at least 4th or something, luckily tests are usually a strong point for me.

for the other subjects, we haven't had any more assessments. except italian, where i beat second place by 25 marks. so my aim in keeping the lead is still good.

Aim: to be first in ancient and in the top 3 in bio, and maintain 1st in everything else, esp ee1 - bit worried about that one...

In year 10 one guy in my year did hebrew. Obviously he came first but when he got his report his mark was below average because the school used the average from the year before, and they refused to give him a prize for it at prize giving
