I did da same as KarmaKitten - Commerce and Visual Arts.
Computing Studies became compulsory when I had to choose it, my teacher in yr 9? Not very good - The teacher I have now is excellent! Neways, commerce was interesting, the teacher I had in yr 9 very nice, the teacher I have now - B-O-R-I-N-G, talks and talks and talks - thats all he does! VA is ok, since I have the same teacher for 2 yrs, explains very well abt technniques etc. etc.

I did business applications and computing studies. They were alright. They were the type of subjects in which you didnt have to do much to get a high mark. That suited me.

wwell depends on your interests really. no one person but yourself can say if youve picked good subjects or not. If you have a genuine interest in those subjects then its alright.....and also it depends entirely on what you want to do when you go to uni...i mean a lot of subjects in uni have prerequisites or assumed knowledge.

in the words of my principal:
you must choose your subjects based on:
vocation
interest
ability

I did German, Computer Studies and Food Technology

German was good - easy, and chatty teacher

Food Tech was great, I liked cooking all that food, plus it was great fun to muck around with friends in.

Computer Studies was soooooo easy!!!! Required no effort at all lol
