What band do i need to qualify for assumed knowledge? (1 Viewer)

hey everyone, i got early entry into an engineering degree in unsw but i do advanced math, do they care what band i get for math? like do i need a band 5 or smthn to get in or can i bomb it and get in (math doesent count for me)

If ur failing a basic math course, not even extension 2, maybe choose another course. I have a brother who did computer science in usyd, they do lot of math. Its only going to get worse for engineering.

Its crazy and unrealiatic thinking you can go drom getting a 60-70 to in hsc 2u math to being able to do multivariate calculus and linear algebra.

i think every engineering course has math 1a/1131, so youd need above an 85 in math or u need to do a bridging course

They dont ask for the bands lol but engineering math def relies on ext 1 knowledge so I would look into that first.
