Likes: its a cuore, surprisingly quick, fun to have alone time in.
Dislikes: NEARLY impossible to have sex in NEARLY.
Mods: new engine from a suzuki rally car, so very yummy.

DISLIKES: Excessive cabin noise, the seating is weird- too tall for e the dashboard is very shallow. No window tint

FUN FACT/OTHER/MODLIST: Proton a subsidiary of Lotus- I pretty much drive a Lotus :p
Bought for just under 8K - couldn't get insurance because its value was 11k at the time
also came with non stock sound system.

PLANS FOR FUTURE: Window tint, maybe 75%, white rims

PHOTOS: It's only a standard model, nothing special to show

That's awesome. I have driven the S16 (in Proton Saga guise)! Protons are usually fun little cars to have and the handling is surprisingly decent.

Oh, and Havox is right. Proton owns Lotus. Bought it back in the 90's from memory.

Dang, I'm disappointed. I think the suspension is developed by lotus a bit. So it still kinda holds true :p

Lol, were Camry's that old even sold here!? Back as a kid my parents had a silver 4th gen Cressida which I remember really well, and a crappy 3rd gen Cressy before it which I barely remember. My dad seems to have fond memories of it and likes the idea of the 1JZ and/or manual conversions.

How did you afford this?????

bit sluggish but... it would have been one hell of a car with a bit more power... been scabbing drives in my brothers one...

Thanks guys. Glad to see many petrolheads around :)

As for the exterior the front bumper and lip is stock. Aftermarket cosmetics were mainly the carbon bonnet, vented headlights (which serves as a function as air flows to the twin pods on the left side of the engine bay), diffusers, etc. IMO the vents are useful to dissipate heat as rotaries run extremely hot.. so it's more like an aesthetic (some hate it) and functional mod for me.

I do agree that FDs look great stock, but once the mod bugs bite you can't stop. However if I were to own a Spirit R then I'll definitely agree that the exterior should be left stock to preserve it's exclusivity.. Other than that Jap cars such as FDs are meant for people to be modded.


Amaranth95: Nice to meet another rotorhead.. The RX-8 is a great car but I'll take the FD anyday ;)

All the exterior parts are still tasteful though, good to hear they are functional! Seen some unfortunate body kits before.

What are your thoughts on the 20b swaps? They seem to easily make a lot of hp, I think there are kits but from my understanding it still isn't cheap or easy lol. Is it just overkill if its not a drag car?
