no i can just identify health hazards posed by the masses of asians in that part of unsw.

convinient how they all congregate in the one area, leaving the library and medicine laws relatively asian free. at least that's how it was in my day.

Well I thankfully departed that institution, and I imagine things have changed marginally. :)

edit: but apparently you were there at the same time as me, so i'm wrong. :D

Bump, because there is much to like about UNSW.

My Mechanics of Solids lecturer, Prusty....

When we just can't keep our mouths shut he starts slapping the nearest fixture or furniture such as tables or overhead projectors to order us to shut up like the kids we are.

The couches at the Mechanical Engineering building....

So relaxing.

I like the lecturers.

They always reply to my emails within a few hours. sometimes within around 30 mins.

love the green patches scattered around campus. There should be more grass! Otherwise, I love the modern buildings, how everything's so clean and new, all the exciting things always going on, the clubs, the socialising, all the new people, the law building, no more school bags, just being at uni is exciting.

Yes, I am a first year.

you can't have been in the biosciences building much yet then, heh. (not that they're gross or anything...just not exactly 'clean and new' and 'modern')

just being at uni is exciting.

and a little bit crazy, obviously.

:)

i'm really starting to like the student study lounge next to clb. there's always just the right 'space' there to suit what i want to do, whether it's plug my laptop into a powerpoint (hard to come by in the library...well on the ground floor anyway), spread out a massive amount of paperwork all over a desk, or pretend to sleep in a corner somewhere...

plus, it's conveniently located close to most of my lecture theatres and lab classes, and not too far away from my favourite coffee place on campus (biblio). so it's 'win' all round :D

Is biblio the coffee cart on library lawn?

people could have their stuff stolen almost anywhere on campus if they leave it unattended for long enough though.

Is biblio the coffee cart on library lawn?
no, it's the food-and-drinks place next to where the silver chairs and tables are, near the entrance to the library and outside one of the entrances to the mathews theatres (the one where you go up the stairs rather than just through the glass automatic doors)
