Because they are fucking terrible.

Don't you dare tell me to calm down!!!
Riproot you're cracking me up! haha
Even beyond their youthful ignorance, they still bring so much happiness in my opinion :)

I'm glad :)

They're actually fucking horrible.

I have two nieces and all I can think about when I see them is that they shouldn't be born, are mistakes, and I try and think of who in the right mind would CHOOSE to have a tiny, grose person.

Hahaha I could understand if they were ranga's but otherwise.... Haha kidding! Personally I love them, and would like at least 3 :) but perhaps after the first night of high decibel cries for milk and nappy changes I'll think otherwise :p haha

I've spent a great deal of my life at various doctors' offices and hospitals for personal health battles; I know from patient experience which is more interesting.

you're one patient

you know nothing of the work

GPs do a lot of important stuff (i.e. minor procedures, chronic care, detecting complications and potentially critical disease, mental health management, continuity of care etc)

but w.e no use

you might as well not do med, because you won't make it onto neruosurg

Now look who's an erroneous person.
Don't judge people on their opinions because anyone who does is just as stupid as the person they are referencing, i.e. you. :) Not a judgement of my own, but a definitive statement.

Btw, did I mention that I did not want to be a GP because of it being 'a worthless job', as you are inferring I made? No. I mearly said that neurosurgery would be more interesting. On that note, the job descriptor of GPs varies from area to area. It is characterised by monotony where I live.
Follow your arguments more closely and if I don't become a neurosurgeon it will be by choice not by 'not making it in'.

Exactly. Arcadian, Can you stop telling people that they won't make it in because there's approx places and they don't have any chance! You don't know who the person is, you don't know how well they will go and you do not know how passionate they are! Even know there is limited places who's for you to say they have a bad chance or will never have any hope of getting in.. Even though we may not know the work as well as you, who's for you to say we won't like the work or won't do the course because of the work?
