Firstly, o.9 repeater is equal to 1.
secondly, an object at the speed of light travels at the speed of light reletive to any other object. however, it does not appear to be moving at the speed of light to someone who is stationary, the actions of the object and in the case of a space craft, all those on board appear slowed down to the external observer. hope this helps

Another method of proving 0.99999...=1 (or 2.999999...=3 or any other number ending in a repeating 9) that can be proven using hsc maths is by using a geometric series.
0.99999...= 0.9 + 0.09 + 0.009 + 0.0009 +...
This is a geometric series with a=0.9, r=0.1
Since -1<r<1, then the series has a limiting sum, as the number of terms approaches infinity.
S<Infinity> = a/(r-1)
S=0.9/(1-0.1)
S=0.9/0.9
S=1

Interesting thought experiment...Worth a look into.

If an object travels close to the speed of light, the mass and lenght of the object change for the observer not the object itself. An observer on an object that is traveling at say 0.99c, will observe the same gravity as if it was stationary, therefore the gravity won't change.
