What happens if you didn't do well in your mid-year exams? (1 Viewer)

I've been very concerned with what my atar is going to be by looking at my mid-year exam results.

Results:
English 2U- 80%
Legal Studies- 75%
Physics- 40%
Business Studies- 78%
Maths 2U- 54%
Design & Tech - 56%

If i didnt score well in my mid-year exams, is it still possible for me to get a 90+ ATAR if I do well in the following internal assessments (the internals tasks i've done range from 75-90%) and the trials + final exam?

You put your head down, and work harder. Not many people on these forums are going to say much that will make you feel better - you've got your friends for that.

seriously who is scoring in the 50s and expecting a 90+ ATAR... I would think it's unrealistic.

The only person who can help you is yourself. Put in more effort if you are worried about your marks, it's really the only thing you have control over.

Don't worry bro. Just work harder to make up for it. Don't give up.

The only thing left to do is stop wasting time on BoS and go study, work harder, do past papers and have them marked, and start with the paper 3-4 weeks before your exams, it helps.

trust me. trials and the actual HSC are worth a LOT. do well in them and u have a chance

also don't stress out too much either if you can't improve too much in the trials/hsc

you can still transfer to most courses at uni if you have a decent ATAR and/or grade at uni if you miss out your desired uni course
