i failed a first semester subject in engineering which was computing @USYD
i got 45 and a fail so what happens?

take the supp exam OR do course again next time it's offered OR gg

Just repeat next sem or in summer to stay on time for your program.

Treat it as a learning experience and do better this sem.
You can do this too. Although many negatives come out of failing, its still a really good way to learn and do better.

Better to fail and learn now rather than coast through and fail in your later years.

Yeah, take it as a lesson.

It's obviously a very small sample size but of the people i've known who a failed a first sem subject, all of them went on to fail more shortly afterwards. You don't want that to be you.

Think positively and god has gifted you another chance to make it better. Failing is better then getting D grade or just passing grade. Because with D grade it will be hard to score more and face people during interview after study....So its time to take the advantage of second chance and achieve B or A
