I went to a uniform school last year.
But had major issues with that.
Which came to a climax with me and my deputy principal having a debate/argument in the middle of Admin about clothes.
One of the key reasons I now go to a non-uniform school.

Uni:

-Black cashmere v-neck (sooooooooooo nice and soft )
-Denim knee length skirt
-Black round toe flats

Oooohhhh Cashmere is the most amazing material.
I love it.
It should be mandatory to have four pieces of Cashmere in every single wardrobe across the country.
(I'd make a good prime minister!)


Now, today for 3am mimosas by the water:
(insomnia + boredom + phone = planning things for 3am in the morning.)

i've been noticing that a lot since i started uni. it's weird. i keep seeing girls in outfits that i would only wear to go out to dinner or to the opera (or to a nightclub, to take the other extreme). seriously, i don't care how short you are, if you're one of the girls who wears bloody 4 inch heels to UNI every day, stop. its embarrassing, you're coming to sit in some lecture theatres, drink some coffee and maybe bum in the library a bit, ffs. honestly. tshirt + jeans + flats/sneakers = win.
oh and yeah i know im a first year but im one of the normal ones.

Heh. When you say 'dress-up' do you mean wearing a dress and flats? If so, then I'm like you, but I wear jeans and a tee when I feel like it. Honestly though, a dress and flats etc. isn't THAT dressy.
