well seeing as i am leaving my school and going to another next year i am gunna miss a few things.

year 10 was probably my best year at school :)

but im gunna miss:

- seeing the same friken people everyday
- yelling at kids to move out of the way so we could eventually get too class
- history lessons talking about everything but history not just with each other but with stano; the economy, the american election, nrl ladder, etc.
- computers lessons with our deputy; oh how little work i did
- maths lessons in the back row eating and listening to ipods
- our junior uniform
- having no responsibility, well very little
- our court which we have owned on the oval
- drama lessons confusing our teacher that our assessments were due the next day and knowing that we didnt have drama until the next term
- italian sitting there doing crap all and still getting in the high 70's to low 80's
- doing shit all in pdhpe
- catching the bus
- no pressure to be studying every night
- watching the boys trying to seduce our history teacher
- bitching about the office lady
- in english writing things on a bit of paper during last period on a thursday, sticking it on our teahcers back and seeing him walking home with it on his back
- sitting in science with our sub for 2 terms and doing shit all then still passing trials without even having to scab marks
- watching our school up in flames.
- doing shit all year!

i could keep going but thats all i am gunna say for now :)

what about you guys?

I'm leaving my school as well...

I'll make the most out of year 10 formal in a couple of weeks, write everyone a farewell card and keep in touch :)

There's heaps to mention about what I would miss about this year. But mostly:
  • my friends ... just being with them and talking about things that don't even matter, the kinds of things you could only do with a school friend
  • my teachers (I've had some real awesome ones)
  • year 9-10 IST (best class everrr)
  • bludge lessons with sub teachers!

I'm going to miss:

- being treated like a kid
- my junior uniform
- bludging
- no pressure for exams
- the idea that it doesn't matter if you do badly - you still have next time.
- being young
- laughing at the seniors having so many assessments
- subjects like pe and geography (even though I hate them)
- doing the same subjects the whole grade is doing (I liked it how everyone did 5.3 Maths and we could compare results, plus having the dumb people drag the average down. Extension 1 will be different next year)
- having classes that are ranked
- going on outings
- some of the students in the grade who are leaving

I agree with all that, but I have to say, I'm kinda glad to be going in yr11.
I guess its okay, cause I'll be at the same school, and all though.

Before the SC tests I REALLY wanted to just get to Year 11 but now I have post-SC depression. I'm going to miss Year 10 so much! I'm in the selective stream at my school and most of the class has been together for a few years, but in Year 11 they get rid of selective :(
I'm also going to miss the fact that in Year 10 I, and a few others, were really stressed about exams and everyone laughed at us. Next year, we're all going to be freaking out!
I dont really know exactly what I'm going to miss, but it's just never going to be the same. I don't want to grow up :(

- Bludgy IST lessons. Funniest things in the world.
- My History, Geography and English teachers. :(
- Irresponsibility.
- Some of my friends won't be in any of my classes ever again, so I'll miss that.
- Saying "it's only year 10" lol
- I'll miss Commerce SOOOO much too :(

-The fact that wearing ties isn't compulsory during summer. Freaking seniors need to wear it each term.
-I'll miss my maths class! LOL, my class was awesome and we had a pretty cool teacher. We'd learn the stuff at the start, then do whatever for the rest of the lesson. My teacher can even do these weird eye things. lool.
-I'll miss my academic class, can't say the same about my PC class. lol
-I'll miss food tech. =[ haha. it was a bludge, but funnnnn. Eating ingredients which you're ot supposed to. e.g. chocolate and whatever else.
-My english class & teacher. She was sooo random and always gets side tracked. We hardly wrote anything in our book.

that's all for now.. lol

I'll definitely miss:

- My english, science, maths and elective history teachers - they were awesome people. I feel kind of sad at the thought of never having them again.. plus, my english teacher is probably one of the funniest and wise people I've met.
- Maths lessons. We too learnt at the start and mostly bludged for the rest of the lesson.
- the freedom
- very little external pressure
- yes! thinking that there will always be a next time to better yourself
- having time to bludge at home because of light workload
- having practically the rest of this term off

Aww, I'm going to miss year 10 even though I couldn't wait to get it over and done with..
