What is it?? I searche google but I still dont get it. Every month my bank account gets deducted by 4 dollars. I supplied my TFN for big W.

Does anyone get this as well?

i think u have to provide tfn for ur bank account. So go to commonwealth bank or something and thenjust enquire about it.

before i told my bank my tfn i got ~$20 interest in my super saver

now im getting ~70 with the same amount of money! Boo yea!

Yep. It sucks arse as they've taken about $40 from me so far. But yeah I still don't go to the bank..

your interest doesnt decrease per se..... just more money is taken out in tax so end result is lots less money into your bank account as interest.... its not that hard...on Tuesday just go in with your TFN, in like 2 months you'll be getting your $8 back anyway through tax returns most likely!

^ exactly. all it means is your bank doesn't have your tax file number. if they don't they have to assume you're earning more money over the highest tax bracket.

to get it back you simply put down your withheld tax by the bank come tax time

I concur.....what does flashing your student card do? you still get taxed....fees are different to taxes......
