what is the atar range to get into the Australian school of business at unsw to get into like a bachelor of business or commerce degree?
I'm currently in yr 11,soon about to start yr 12 and just curious how it all works at uni.
Any past experience,thoughts,advice please about the question?And what requirements do you need eg, math,English,bus,economics to get into the Australian school of business?

The cut off is around 96.50. However, you can get HSC Plus (max of 5). I would say if you have an ATAR of at least 92, you have good chance of getting in.

There are no prerequisites. They teach the course assuming you havent learnt anything. The only assumed knowledge would be maths. Not sure if 2U or 3U is assumed knowledge.

Pretty sure 2u is assumed knowledge, but they offer a few bridging courses in case you don't do math.

Bachelor of Taxation has like an ATAR cut-off in the low 80s, tis' the minimum to get into ASB.

For 2013, the requirement for getting into the BCom is 96.3. It's been around this score for the past few yrs. The good thing about UNSW's entrance is their HSC plus bonus points. You can easily get 5 bonus points if you have some nice band 5s in 2u/3u maths and English adv. Commerce at UNSW offers bonus points only for the subjects 2u/3u/4u maths & English advanced, 3u/4u English. You can check it here: http://iaro.online.unsw.edu.au/pls/non/hsc_bonus_points.main and click on BCom. It's good to do 3 of the subjects above (e.g. I did English adv., 3u maths and 4u maths, so I have a good chance of getting 5 bonus points. So, I probs need 91.3+ to have a chance. If you get around 93, you're pretty secure for an offer into ASB's Com. If you get around 90, you can try the BEc (93 and allow bonus points), if you don't mind Economics.
The ASB has actuarial studies at 97 (no bonus points though), so it's not easy and there's a high drop out rate in first yr uni.
