I mean yeah i know it's called an ATAR, but previous years what was the average UAI for all students in NSW in the previous year?

2004 66.85
2005 66.90
2006 67.65
2007 68.05
2008 68.10

The mean (or average) UAI is not published but is likely a bit lower.

ok .

the average = sum of scores divided by number of scores .

e.g say if you have 10 brain cells and a 2 yr old has 30 well you go :

10+30 = 40/2 = 20 therefore the average in 20 brain cells .

Zazzy may be clueless and fucking annoying with his coloured fonts and use of slang but thats no reason to attack his ATAR aim. An ATAR of 60 is a brilliant achievement for some people, your HSC marks do not denote the person you are. argh

Average UAI I would guess to be around 60, substantially lower because there's a lot of people at the bottom (kinda explains why the MIDDLE UAI is 68 rather than 50).
