Hey guys,

Just wondering, what is the best Italian dictionary to buy? Are there any better than the Collins' one's?

Thanks!

Hey,

My advice on dictionaries would be that on the front of the paper, it's very general saying "Dictionaries may be used", so you can take in more than one dictionary.

I usually take in my small Oxford one for simple words because they're easier to find and I also have a Collins Easy Learning Dictionary as it has grammar in the middle (which you're also allowed and are really useful) and another bigger green collins one which has some useful sentance phrases in the back.

It does sound expensive but I borrowed them from friends or people I knew who have done Italian in previous years and you can sell them once your done to someone in a year below you.

I hope this helps!
