Just curious as to what everyone's favourite manga or anime is. I've watched and read a lot of mainstream stuff, and wondering if others share my taste or like completely different things?

Steins Gate (holy shit you need to watch this b4 you die)
Pyso pass (1984 with futuristic shit)
Gakkou Gurashi Ep 1 (that plot twist is too strong.. loses impact after ep 10)
K (animation is sooo good)
Hunter x Hunter 2011 (yeah just watch it)
Kiseijuu (parasite) old school manga, neikt level anime
Full metal alchemist brotherhood (planning to rewatch after HSC)
Fate series esp Unlimited Blade Works for them sword scenes

I'd say Psycho-Pass first season and Tokyo Ghoul Manga first season are good.

So far favourite anime is code geass, and 2nd favourite is my hero academia (after seeing 2nd season atm).

Favourite manga is AOT because I've only read that and my hero academia manga. If this was animated this would be my second favourite anime.

Hands down my most favourite anime would be Jojo's bizzare adventure. It's surprisingly unique and fresh for a shounen manga despite being old. (Started in 1987).

I don't really get to watch niche/seasonal anime (I didn't really have much time cause HSC and other factors) so most my favourites are more well known/popular.


In terms of manga, it's kinda hard to decide between The World God Only Knows or My hero academia. Death note, Magi, Tokyo Ghoul and Seven deadly sins are pretty high up my list as well. Death note after a certain event kinda felt dragged on. Magi's current arc is pretty boring. Tokyo Ghoul :re had so many character introduced and killed its kinda hard to keep up. Also the fight scenes are drawn so weirdly its hard to tell what's going on (Though I mainly read it for the plot and seeing kaneki suffer). There isn't anything bad so far in Seven deadly sins and is a solid manga series.
