Hey, im close to finnishing my HSC in about 1 months time and am still confused about which IT course to take at TAFE. I would like to take the best possible course which will get me into something along the lines of a computer technician, but i am unsure of which course to take as there are tons of IT courses at TAFE. Im looking towards a course at Ultimo or Randwick TAFE.

If it matters, im a fairly smart student, and have considered UNI but i am doubtful i will recieve an 89 UAI(or ATAR) to get into engineering.

Help will be much appreciated

If you want something practical and can get a fairly OK ATAR... What about Bachelor of Industry Computing at Charles Sturt University ? It's got Comptia components and gives you a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) piece of paper but also gets you a full degree. It's by distance too if you don't want to move to Wagga or get a job halfway through and want to continue studying after hours.

That sounds good, but Wagga Wagga is just too far away to travel for me. I was looking for something around the city area. Thanks for the suggestion
