Hey,

I need an ATAR of 91-92. What RAW marks for HSC do i need in each of my subjects?

Subjects (my mark in trials - rank)
English 74% Rank: 55/177
Maths 2U 68% Rank: 38/72
Maths 3U 34% Rank: 60/68 [ PROBABLY WON'T COUNT FOR ME]
French Continuers 76% Rank 1/2
Legal Studies 81% Rank 4/20
Chemistry 48% Rank 22/49


According to the calculations and stuff by my school, assuming i do aswell as previous year's rankings, my PREDICTED ATAR was 89.

Is it possible for me to get 91-92 ATAR? and if so what marks do i need for each of my exams?

you need to study harder for chemistry and maths, get band 6 for them, and you MIGHT be able to scrape 91-92.

did your school predict what HSC mark you would be receiving for each of those subjects? because that would be a better indication.

Basically my school said here's what marks last year's group got and linked it to their ranks, then compared that to my ranks, therefore forming my "predicted" atar

School Rank is 61.

from what u say, it really depends on how good or bad ur year is compared to last year. If you assume your year is very similar to last year, the "predicted atar" is fairly accurate.

So what kind of raw marks am i looking at here? Same marks as my trial ? because they seem WAY too low to get 91-92 ATAR...
