How do you all think you went?
what raw mark (as a %) do you think you got?

I didnt find the test overly complicated, q 6 and 7 were a bit of a bitch though, didnt skip anything other than parts in those q's lol

22% of BOS reckons they got 90+, if this was an indication of NSW perfermance, that means E4 cut off is gonna be at least 80%

But clearly, BoS is not a typical cross section of NSW.

BoS is usually smarter than most people.
Not in my case though :(
50-60/84
I'm so bad at maths that I can't even convert that into % right now..

141 people have replied to this poll

8548 people did Maths Ext.1 last year

let's ASSUME the numbers will be similar

then this poll accounts for less than 2% of the entire candidature for mathematics ext1, and thereby no means accurate for determining band cut-offs and alignment of marks. With that said, there are some estimates that may be correct to a certain extent, but we will never know how the board of studies will decide to allocate marks and cut-offs

So around 30% of BOS reckons they got 80% plus

that means E4 may be 60s if BOS is reflective of the entire state

except it isn't... bos' demographic seems to be mostly the high achievers
the e4 cut off will probably be mid to high 50s, which is still unfortunate for me anyway haha
