Just a quick question on the best and smoothest pen there is.

What do you suggest?
I heard gel pens or fine liner pens are quite good.
My friend uses artline 200 and it is pretty smooth. Might get that one. but any suggestions before I buy.

currently, I am writing with a papermate kilometrico. It's okay I guess esp the red colour. The black and blue is not as good as the red one. That's why I'm planning on changing it.

what pens do you use?

For my essay writing subjects I found the papermate gel roller to be the best as the pen glided across the page and didnt smudge as much as other gel pens. For maths though I used a fine ball point pen which I brought from Big W.

Otherwise, the black, circular pens they have at NAB are wonderful.

Where did you get that pen from? and how much?

otherwise you can buy online or ebay which is usually cheaper

How long does the ink last? And is it good for people who like to press hard?

Oh and how much is replacement/refill ink?

i no that my parker ball point pen refill is 10 dollars, so the fountain pen refill should be about 10-20$

fountain pens are no good if you press hard, ideally you don't press at all

how long the ink lasts depends on the pen, i have to refill mine about once a week

at officeworks you can get a 50ml bottle of parker quink for $10 which will last you about a year for the amount of writing a hsc student does

fountain pens aren't that expensive overall

some of my friends go through a single gel pen a week so that's $5 a month, $60 a year etc.
