finally some head way.the first few reasons of a perfect universe is the main reason i have a interest in science so much because it provides so many explanations to how things works however they don't answer why.which is a serious personall problem of mine.which is why i dont belive but still have an open mind to the possibility hence this thread just proof is all i need.

okay lets just assume the "perfect universe" created by "god is "true" what does that mean for me.it still doesn't vindicate christianity by saying that jesus was god therefor i am.

also this part of the aricle struck out.

5. Does God exist? We know God exists because he pursues us. He is constantly initiating and seeking for us to come to him.
I was an atheist at one time. And like many atheists, the issue of people believing in God bothered me greatly. What is it about atheists that we would spend so much time, attention, and energy refuting something that we don't believe even exists?! What causes us to do that? When I was an atheist, I attributed my intentions as caring for those poor, delusional people...to help them realize their hope was completely ill-founded. To be honest, I also had another motive. As I challenged those who believed in God, I was deeply curious to see if they could convince me otherwise. Part of my quest was to become free from the question of God. If I could conclusively prove to believers that they were wrong, then the issue is off the table, and I would be free to go about my life.
I didn't realize that the reason the topic of God weighed so heavily on my mind, was because God was pressing the issue. I have come to find out that God wants to be known. He created us with the intention that we would know him. He has surrounded us with evidence of himself and he keeps the question of his existence squarely before us. It was as if I couldn't escape thinking about the possibility of God. In fact, the day I chose to acknowledge God's existence, my prayer began with, "Ok, you win..." It might be that the underlying reason atheists are bothered by people believing in God is because God is actively pursuing them.
I am not the only one who has experienced this. Malcolm Muggeridge, socialist and philosophical author, wrote, "I had a notion that somehow, besides questing, I was being pursued." C.S. Lewis said he remembered, "...night after night, feeling whenever my mind lifted even for a second from my work, the steady, unrelenting approach of Him whom I so earnestly desired not to meet. I gave in, and admitted that God was God, and knelt and prayed: perhaps, that night, the most dejected and reluctant convert in all of England."
Lewis went on to write a book titled, "Surprised by Joy" as a result of knowing God. I too had no expectations other than rightfully admitting God's existence. Yet over the following several months, I became amazed by his love for me.

this also partly supports that my "god is a feeling thoery " because why else for no degree born out of pure deduction and empirical evidence or lack of knowledge as to why the things were the way they were therefore a "omni-being" created the "perfect universe".its just mind boggling but lively in my opinion.

your ignorance baffles me.

what is the point of asking for evidence when you are obviously so ready to dismiss it (without reason), and if you DO dismiss it WITH reason, then you might as well be 'arguing' it and refer to the Does God Exist? thread.
there just questions that rise up because i find the evidence suffice to believe in a god has to be more than a model like the water cycle because this is a really important issue.because

if god does exist then we cant know for sure and if he doesnt than what caused the big bang, abiogenisis and all the laws and constants of the universe. it can all be reduced to chance, this would be the "reason" but the rebuff would be the lack of "reason" as to this is how is happens but why does this happen? why do electrons and protons exist? etc, etc.

These are questions that can only be answered by a man of God. Turn to the good book and join a good Christian church.

maybe thats what im looking for reason.

if everything can be deduced as a result of chance, therefore that would not be reasonable at all would it?.therefore everything is not dependent on chance however scientifically everything "looks"/empirically is depentdent on chance.but this is not rationale so it cant be.

"this is not rationale so it cant be"is this emovite or scientific/analytical because i dont know if its a emotive or logical rebuff.

i think i have found the answer i have been looking for."God is a paradox".eureaka!!!!!!!.
its just an endless cycle of "for" and "against" there is no right or wrong answer its a moral and ethical philosophy.

a paradox i would have never thought.its proberly more like quantum mechanics in principle if anything.

i would think it as though scientifically life came from cells and stuff, but just wat makes these fundemental particles up? everything must happen because of a reason but there is no reason to explain such ideas. also have you notice tat everything in this universe is pretty fair. basic animals can reproduce faster but are much weaker and die of an early age. animals tat are tougher and stronger usually can't reproduce as much. humans are an exception, but however humans due to their high intelligence would often face extreme difficulties and suffer and endure more pains in life. (eg. cing some one close to you die infront of you as compared to some other animal cing their relative die infront of them. these animals would feel little pain as compared to the pains felt by us. also because of how humans are so advanced, problems such as killing each other arise, this does not happen other animals unless for an actual purpose. for example how some female spiders eat their mates during reproduction.) this balancing act is unlikely to be caused by just scientific cycles but rather fits better with the idea that some one or something is manipulating and controlling the universe. from these ideas i'd rather believe in the existance of some sort of a higher being rather than just science, but as to whether it is so called god or buda or wateva, it doesn't really matter and whether such higher being exists is still a question tat can never be solved so any result is possible. but believe in something is better than nothing (and not necessarily attend churchs or wat eva) as some times it just gives you the confidence and the hope to do extrodinary things when you think some one or something is supporting you.

i've seen stuffs in life tat just cannot be explained by science, though i still belive strongly in science but i still believe the existance of a higher being. eg. the other day, i heard from my grandpa who's a doctor said tat he just saw the most incredible thing in life. someone diagnosed with severe cancer with only the maximum time of a week left in his life, had survived tens yrs and came back to do a re-check tens yrs later. The re-check showed the cancer inside the patient's body had disappered and was a perfect recovery. all the doctors had given up on the hope of him saving him at the time and no medical help was given or could be given to save his life (basically where science had already failed) and yet he lived.

Nicely said i think that sums it up perfectly about the "uncertainties" of life. And a end to this thread.

facepalm.
Please, you're (read:you are) making us athiests look bad.

provide reasons with youre statements please."the bible because x and y"
and the miracle of life becuase x and y.however the miracle of life can be reduced to deduced to as a result of chance and the fact that he havent found any extraterritrial life yet.so please provide reasons with youre statements.thank you.
what the fuck??

if no one can provide a rationale reason that "god" exists than therefore we can safely conclude that he doesn't.
nah bro, you conclude that there isn't enough evidence to suggest that he exists.
Note:This is not the same as concluding that he doesn't exist.

For a lover of science you're pretty bad with reason...

This same question can be asked for what is the proof that electricity exists. We can see the existence of electricty, not physically, but by what it can do. Electricty enables your computer screen to turn on, just as God moves through those people who work for him.

You know, I could not be fucked scanning through the rest of the thread to see if this has been said.
But you seem like a lazy shit to me. What you're really looking for is some meaning for your existence? Are you depressed? Want a soda? Piss off I am sick of and embarrassed by people that don't pick up a book or two and READ about this type of stuff. Let alone looking on the internet, *because there is really credible information on here.

You have obviously put yourself in the easier position, because it is so much EASIER for you to disprove something and shoot down someone elses' theory than develop and create your own? Do you expect all life's answers to be spoonfed to you via some thread like this?

If so, you should have a reward up. Much like the million dollar reward for finding a ghost. Otherwise read a book you lazy shit. Stupid question.

look im left handed when it comes to rhetoric and articulating stuff like words it requries remembering symbols and grammer.which i am naturally not good at.i prefer to more creative and intuitive and follow the gist of the whole picture of things rather than scrutinise defects of minor importence.

i know my spelling and grammer mistakes and improper analogies and metaphors are atrocious and a insult to the english language. But in the end this my nature and i prefer to write this way.also im not the most verbose person anyof you will ever meet.
