What rank do I need for these HSC marks. (1 Viewer)

Aiming for 98+ in MX1 and 90+ in chem, school was ranked in 40's last year
Anyone know minimum ranks I need /48 for chem and /45 for mx1.

Also I heard if highest score last year at my school was 93 for chem you can't get over?

sort by da count per school subject
search for your school
the number of b6/e4 will tell you roughly what ranks to get a b6/e4 (go back a few years to get make sure its not an anomalous year)
idk about 98 def top 5 i think if not first


edit: you can definitely get over 93, what the previous years highest makes no tangible difference

I looked up distinguished achievers (not sure if that's b6/e4) about 20-25 in last few years for 3u and about 10-15 for chem. Is that telling me I need top 20 for 90+ in 3u and top 10 for 90+ in chem?

yes, so top 10 in chem (top 5 to be safe)
top 20-25 for 3u so top 3 for 3u depending on cohort

There's no such thing as a minimum rank. Each year is different; each cohort is different. You also need to do well in the exam. Aiming for 98+ means your own exam mark needs to be around 98. It's your own individual performances in school that go towards your rank. Don't aim for a rank; aim for getting as many marks as possible. This should be more than obvious.

+1 exactly. The cohort every year is different, the highest score for chem last year can be 95, and maybe for your year can be 90. it really depends
