What raw mark u aiming for and band (1 Viewer)

does it affect ur scaling depending on wat school u go to?
like if everyone does well, do u get scaled up more? thats wat my teachers have been saying. can someone clarify?

i wouldnt thnik so ... isnt it only ur assessment mark?

hoping tp get 70% raw...

3 step process - aligning, moderating and scaling. Here we're talking about aligning. They take your raw marks and then redistribute them so the highest raw marks get 90s, etc. Not entirely sure why they do it, I've heard it's so marks are comparable between years. After this they'll moderate your assessment mark (basically, give your rank a mark the reflects how well your cohort did in the exam) and then once you got all your HSC marks the UAC will scale them to give you a UAI.

What we're talking about has nothing to do with your school.

I rekon by the looks of this forum, throughout alot of the questions, people are split between 2 possible correct answers( one is obviously wrong). So i rekon this year there may be a bit of gap. And the average may be a little lower than last year.
