Wouldn't a lot there be a lot of organising rather then sacrificing in regards to the HSC. People need to keep up their socialising and extra curriculum activities to basically keep them sane. Of course there are some activities and responsibilities that can’t be sacrificed so organising your time more effectively can help with the HSC workload and still leave time for study and those other activates needed to keep you sane.

I know for myself there is a lot of time spent on activates that I can cut down on, gaming and internet usage just to name some. But for a lot of the things I do I know if I wanted to keep everything that I already do and still complete my studies reorganising rather then sacrificing is in order.

Giving up anything for HSC?

Is there something you are willing to give up for at least a couple of months in order to study for the HSC? I've already cut t.v. because once I sit infront of the screen I watch program after program and lose all thoughts of studies and revisions that I had. I think that's all I can give up for now.

*TEAR cutting down on TV viewing*

I won't be 'giving' anything up completly having already completed a HSC I know somewhat the deadicate it takes and what works for some people won't always work for others. I think a lot of things that I do just need to organise and limit my time i.e. internet usage, gaming, chatting, tv viewing etc.

Re: Giving up anything for HSC?

tv isnt an issue since i dont watch much of it. but i'm gonna have to lock away all my non school related books, because once i start reading one i get lost in it and cbf to read the ones i actually have to. also (and it pains me to do this) but it looks like my intarweb time is gonna have to go. i spend waaaaaaaaay too much time on the computer, here and elsewhere. *cries* the hsc can just go away now.

I wanted to get my english assignment finished by last night, but stupid procrastination made me have to finish it off tonight. I haven't done much since school started, this last week has gone super fast!

whats your classification of "not a lot" =p. yes and procrastination is evil ... i havent done a lot and i feel so guilty about it psht. i think i was more motivated in the holidays then i am now = = " probably because i could do things at my own pace.
