I finished Year 10 today, and Im just wondering how much of a change Year 11 will be? Im slightly nervous about the workload and how I will cope?
Any advice or experience is welcome!
These are my subjects
Ext English
Maths Adv
Business
SOR II
Modern
Ancient

I have 13 units? Is that too many units?

Thankyou!

It is a change and a step, but it's not as big step as everyone makes out.

And no, I did 13 units comfortably in prelim. I recommend taking 13 at least at the start, as it gives you the chance to try more subjects and gives you greater dropping options and combos for Yr 12. Trust me I recommend it because you don't know exactly what the subjects will be like.

In prelim, I did 7 of the same units as you. Adv/Ext Eng, Maths and Modern.

It is a pretty big change from year 10. No one really gave a stuff about studying for the SC but in year 11, you start to knuckle down and everyone gets more competitive as ranks start playing a major role. But you do get to pick your subjects so you do enjoy them more. 13 units is ok because if its too much work, you can drop down and if you don't like a subject then your still all sorted. Just see how it goes.

Yeah, don't worry much, well that's what I'm doing.
Take it one step at a time, and be consistent, don't procrastinate.
Aim high too, anything is possible if u put ur mind to it, believe me I used to doubt this saying but its very true.

Good luck :)
