It's not like theirs mutiple choice to work out and essays to plan. What should I be doing?

I usually either read over questions 9 and 10, just so i know what's coming and it gives me a better idea of how long i should spend on each question. Also if you read those two during the reading time you won't be too flustered when you reach them later on in the paper as you have already seen them. Otherwise, i tend to do the questions from question 1 in my head

Usually skim through every question, spend around 3 minutes on qusetoin 1-8 and the rest on 9-10
idk if anyone does this but i colour my index finger so that its soaking with ink, then as i read i dab the hard questions so i know not to spend too much time on it

Circle geometry questions, usually. If you've done past papers, you should notice questions which you feel take longer than others, so read those ones first and try to work them out.
