Double iss just the ideal size, its nice and square-ish, and roomy, but i can still reach the edges.

I have a queen. It's one of the best ones... really thick and soft. And I got it for free.

Double. I only sleep on one side of the bed all rolled up though, so there's too much empty bed space.

I'd prefer a single, so I can stuff more things in my bedroom (like my massive bookcase that's sitting in the hall).
