Having a tad trouble with the high start of the chorus though,

i still need 1 more song, can u recommend me any others that sort of fit around that pitch

aargh i keep changing my mind lol!


i've been playing guitar for awhile and recently decided to abandon it for hsc because i only ever played recreationally and for small performances with voice, so i'm going with piano and getting back into that, as well as vocals.

i think i'm doing bittersweet symphony by the verve on piano/voice as a part of 20/21 century music

i really want to do butterflies & hurricanes by muse, but the vocals are difficult for my voice so i may need to change them around a little bit. (for rock music, or i'll find another category it fits into)

pretty sure i'm only doing two performances. a substitute would be possibly something by eva cassidy, 'songbird' or 'over the rainbow' in which case i'd probably do guitar.

im doing Paper Moon definately, n tossing around a few others such as The Glory of Love- Bette Midler, Honeysuckle Rose, Autumn Leaves n a few other classics. Anyone have any ideas of others suited to a medium to high pitched voice thats sweet that i could do?

Theatre Music- 'Still Hurting' (The Last 5 Years- Jason Robert Brown)

20th and 21st Cent. (Focus on 50s comedy music)- 'In Old Mexico' (Tom Lehrer)

Music of a Culture- (British Isles)- 'Scots Song' (Mcmillan)


I still have to pick my core piece and knowing me these will all change, but I like them for now lol!!

As for singing, I'm doing Believe Again by delta for Instrument and it's Repertoire and focusing on popular vocals.
