Hi everyone, What are you dropping and why?

Also some advice?

What would be better to drop General Maths or Economics?
I am failing in both with the same marks and hate them both equally with no motivation whatsoever
What would you do?
My maths teacher has said I should drop twice now and my economics teacher hasn't said anything but she is probably thinking it.

Thanks everyone !!!

Subject I'm Dropping: Economics

Reason For Dropping: It takes me away from all my other subjects and is far too time-consuming.

My Advice: Drop Economics if you're not willing to put in the effort because I hear it gets more difficult in year 12.

Back in my day

Dropped: Mathematics Extension 2.

Reason: Was getting 6/15 for English prep papers.

Now: Biggest regret since I only study maths.

Lesson: Drop what you hate and not interested in. Should've dropped chemistry instead, only need to study 4 subjects but now I have to study 6 subjects for the next 2 weeks left.

Rather than drop based on Year 11 what not try both for four weeks or so of Year 12 and thus see what the Year 12 courses are like before making that decision. The Year 12 courses can be very different to the Preliminary courses.

I would say to drop general maths just because economics has better scaling, however it does get harder apparently

dropping: english extension
reason: too much work for 1 unit, also ditching this unit for 4u maths

Dropping Design and Technology. Why? Because... it's Design and Tech. Well to be honest it was a filler and the effort I would have to put in, in exchange for results doesn't seem quite worth it.
