Undergrad 1st year - Design in Architecture

Sem 1:
- DESA 1001: Design Practice 1A
- DESA 1101: Design Studies 1A
- AWSS 1001: Architectural Sketching and Drawing

Sem 2:
- DESA 1001: Design Practice 1B
- DESA 1102: Design Studies 1B
- DESP 1001: Introductory Urban Design and Planning

I was wondering how many hours everyone has for a single week working on their subject. It seems everyone here has 4 units of studies per semester while we were recommended 3 units of studies per semester (which takes up 24 credit points). The contact hours for us is 21 hrs per week + 9 hours of self-directed studies in which we work on our portfolio and prepare for classes per week, as well a recommended 52 hours of exam preperation per semester.

I have 12 hours a week for four subjects - but I'm doing arts, which always has less contact hours. Science students and those doing more practical subjects (like yourself) will always have more contact hours because you've got prac work and stuff.

I was about to say that you have a fantastic mix of subjects that you'll enjoy. ... then I saw that you want to do INFS1000 voluntarily. Why on earth would someone do that?

No shit? I was referring to specific content, as in do you do any programming, do you study processes or do you just learn how to use word and excel.
