we started with judith wright poems, are now doing othello and will finish prelim with 'great expectations' (teacher gaves the books at begginning of yr)

yeh same with our school - macbeth in year 10 and othello in year 11

yeh our school did that too, yr 10 was macbeth and yr 11 was othello

First term I did maestro - second crappest book ever that i have read, first being Tale of two cities for ext - we've finished the work on the book and i still haven't finished it :p
Last term we did Taming of the Shrew and last year (yr 10) shakespeare was Much Ado About Nothing - i can't remember for the life of me what that was about...

um othello and who's afraid of virginia woolf.. is there realli that mny ppl doing these 2 books? cuz i was always annoyed that no one's doing them !!! hmm.. well doing frankystyn in 3U now.. english is such a hard subject ><''

my class has started on Macbeth after studying romanticism poetry. How cool is Macbeth???? It's really the only piece of Shakespeare i can understand because its interesting as there is gore and evilness....all the ingredients for an interesting play!!!!!!!!!!

We just finished King Lear. Alright play, but im still not a big fan of Shakespeare. Now doing Essay on Man by Pope.

It depends on you school, I think.
But I never studied Macbeth. I changed schools between years 9 and 10 and did Romeo and Juliet twice.

In year 11 we studied Othello and The Great Gatsby/Death of a Salesman.

Pride & Prejudice and Bride & Prejudice for Transformations.
We did Othello earlier in the year for the Area of Study.

We started with Robert Browning, then Great Expectations and now Othello.
In Extension, we've done The Grat Gatsby, Jane Eyre, while now we're doing Tennyson.
