Tomorrow you get:

* HSC Assessment mark
* HSC Exam mark
* HSC Mark - The average of the HSC assessment mark and the HSC exam mark.

In order to use SAM effectively, yes you input your HSC mark.

Enter it as a mark out of 50.

You only enter it as a mark out of 100 when you are doing Mathematics Extension 2.

Question: (i'm probably wrong, but just to confirm) Doesn't the Board scale the marks, so the marks you get of hscresults.com.au are already scaled? If that is so then does the SAM rescale them? If it does then methinks it could not be too accurate...

Do UAIs change much in the very high range, i.e. 99.9-99.95? I put my marks in and it said 99.95 for 01, 02 and 04, and 99.9 for 03. I was heaps surprised though, cos i got a lot of 94s and my highest mark was 96.

thanks for bursting my bubble..
It happens if you apply to a university that offers it.

Eg UAI cut-off for a course is 80, if that UNI offers the rural equity scheme (I think that's what it's called) you'll only need 75.
