Hey, out of interest, I was wondering what people currently attending uni like and dislike about their uni, their courses etc.

from a (1st yr) student at uts. hence i don't know too much about uts yet but this is what i know so far
pro1: next to central station so you don't need to catch a bus
pro2: next to market city (mainly for haymarket campus) and lots of shops and club venues
pro3: next to abc studios :)
pro4: walking distance between classes and lectures
pro5: building 10 is good
pro6: alot of 2serfm's stuff is broadcasted at uts
pro7: lots of friendly people around campus

con1: the tower building is plain. but i don't have any classes expcept for an isp lecture at bld2 inside tower so it's not a fuss.
con2: food at union level are kinda pricey
con3: no business society :( . they have societies for nearly every single faculty but not business? even tho half of uts are business students?????
con4: not enough bands come to perform at uts. then again, i'm not a fan of acoustic music. and where are the comedians? so yeah it kinda links to social life.
con5: gym is somewhere in the construction area which kinda sucks for now. can't wait till renovations finish soon

that's all i can think so far. i know i have more cons on my mind. just can't remember (where are you uts people?)
