i would be content with anything over 90... but of course a UAI of 95 or more is always going to be fantastic
i believe as long as an individual can look towards a realistic future.. then that's the main aim... n always try your best of course :)

Well... for the course i would like to go into i need a 94.8 UAI. However, my subjects are scaled very low so i will need to get around the 90-95 mark in all of ny subjects. This could be a problem because at the moment i am getting around the 80-90 mark.

As it shows on this thread many people have different expectations, but personally i would be content and happy with any uai that is greater or equal to 85 but any mark below i would be disappointed. Also aiming for 85+ is realistic for me

I'd honestly be quite disappointed if I got below 95.

Realistically: 95 or above will suffice :).
Idealistically: 99 or above.

I'd be slightly disappointed with anything below 99 if I step outside and view myself objectively. Work ethic poor.
Very disappointed with anything below a 98.

Sounds gay, but meh. Aim high.

I would love a 99+ UAI, however a realistic achievement at PRESENT is probably 90 - 95. :)

omgosh what are you thinking? it's just a rank & by the sounds of it, it sounds like you're limiting & putting WAY too much pressure on yourself that it'll become inhumanely possible to let your brain even function normally!
+ by the sounds of it, you would be very smart...if only you'd let yourself even relax for a second

UAI-wise, I'd probably be happy if I got over 95...but I'd be even more stoked if I could get into the BA for Fashion/Textile comb. with International Studies (cut-off was 99.90 last year)

For some people 85 UAI is an abysmal rank.

Haha yeah, of course it's not the end of the world, many people do go on to be successful without a "good" UAI, but my asian parents would definitely say otherwise.

And those asian parents who aren't like that, are just exceptionally cool =P
