i want to know people's opinions on USYD- whether good or bad
I am currently studying in USYD, and i really don't know whether i should transfer to like UNSW



why do i find uni so boring.....?
too much workload + not enough parties = boring university

Unless you're white, in your early-mid 20's and probably dont go the actual uni, then by all means go for it.

i really rather go to a party made by my uni, so you get to meet people from your uni
and ye unsw parties are not as fun..... really compared to like the beach one by usyd

I don't know about UNSW, but i love usyd. i doubt there would really be much of a difference in workload between the two- and workloads really vary from subject to subject and how much you're willing to put in.

As for the parties, i think USYD has a huge number of social events. Most societies hold social events, either drinks at manning or larger parties and the uni frequently has parties, gigs at manning etc that aren't part of a society event. It's a matter of getting involved...

Usyd has heaps of social events. Shouldn't you be going out to parties and stuff with friends anyway? I've never been as social or had as many people to talk to as this year, I can't go anywhere on campus without bumping into someone I know.

im AM asian, and 90% of my friends went to UNSW,
but love the parties at USYD, such as the beach ball one which was so damn fun, but theres not many coming up! i mean like big events , or else you have too much work, you just cant follow up.
if you know any good parties going on at usyd, let me know =] cos i dont see any interesting ones coming up T.T
and i really dont think manning bar is that great.....
