are the generations just getting smarter or wat?
why are all the cut offs constantly increasing?
whens the point that its gonna stop and actually decrease again??

eg. B Social Science at UNSW was:
70.00 in 2001
77.00 in 2002
82.65 in 2003
85.30 in 2004

in just a short period of 4 years it bounced from 70 to 85.

keep this up and by the time it hits 2007 it will b like 100.00 !!!!

It doesn't increase just because everyone is getting smarter, rather the demand for it is getting higher.

So unless everyone wants to do Social Science it won't get up to 99 UAI. But it is possible.

hrmm.. looks like it's following an exponential decay pattern to me :p

maybe social science is just getting more and more popular? Or UNSW is accepting less and less people in for social science (therefore increasing cut-off)

just my thought

whats the difference between B Arts and B Social Science at UNSW?
seems like they have the same cut offs every year
and the majors in both courses look the same

not all courses go up, it depends on demand. Just look at most IT courses

gee whiz man...

yeh the trend is crazy

i feel really sorry for people like my sister who is in year 6 right now. when she does the hsc in 2010, the uai cut offs will be unrealistic for most people trying to get into any course
