Hey! I just wanted to ask, what exactly is the case study, section 2 of the HSC exam meant to be about?

I'm doing Elizabeth, and I'm not too sure what I'm meant to be learning about... ?

And in the syllabus, it says there are 'historical debates'?

Which ones are the ones for Elizabeth??

Breathe, breathe, breathe!!

It is ok!!! You do not need help!!

If your class had already learned all about it and you had not.. then you would need help!! But it is not like that!!

Your teacher is qualified (I'm assuming) and he/she knows what they are doing@!!!! They probably want to spend the whole next term on section two!!! which is a great idea.. my teacher keeps jumping form course to course and im so confused!!

Just be paitent!

I'm doing the Arrival of the Britis in Australia...

Im not sure about 'set' history wars... but i think they are assumed because for each topic there is a MAJOR history war.. like min is mainly between Henry Reynolds and Keith Windschuttle.. most of mine is based on their methodolgies.. I'm not sure if they are all like that!! But there are heaps of other historians surronding my 'war' to...

Seriously, relax!!

Worry about the things you need to worry about: Subjectss you are ACTUALLY behind in, assessmets you have coming up! that kind of thing.... as i said previously

You will learn all you need in DUE time!

I'm doing Elizabeth as well, which is kinda annoying cos I'm an ancient guy...

Anyway, the deabates for Elizabeth I are as follows:

1. Construstion of her identities and gender
2. Religious policies and beliefs
3. Politics administration and leadership

You basically have to use the 3 historian's texts (Camden, Elton and Bassnett for me) and talk about how they approach these issues, answering the 5 historiography questions etc...

I really dont like this topic and I'm finding it pretty difficult to write essays for it...oh well, plenty of practice before trials then :)
