well. wouldn't you do the optionals?? (unless they are worth nothing). assuming they could be worth something i dont see why people would leave the final to be worth 100%.. :/

what??

final exam has weighting of 100%.

we have optional assessments- take home exam, mc quiz and assignment. all of which add to nothing. just there to help those, that chose to do them, to gauge their progress (and such bullshit). our lecturer said that it reduced the amount of plagiarism that can happen in the assesments.

how do you know.. you ain't got no crystal ball.. *-)

it times like these you want academic insurance.. the kind which compensates you if you go badly...

if the past is any guide.. ill get cr, d, d, hd.. it'll nicely balanced (so that my gpa keeps falling.)

two eh?! you know they dun work right :D

you see im doing 15 cp.. and if i get a credit in one of three of my 4cp.. it means the semester gpa is 3.733.

(anyways, if you do actuarial you end up with a gpa complex.. whereas i was talking with someone else and they dun care at all.)

trust an actuary to complicate things.

it was meant to just an indicate that even a ridiculously high marginal gpa decreases total gpa.

nah, a ridiculously high marginal gpa would be like 4.10 or something.. a marginal of 3.75 is pedestrian.

my current bet is Cr, Cr, D, Hd this semester... which means a marginal GPA of 3.466 which is just baaaaaaaaaad.

the current aim is to make that Cr, D, D, Hd (and with a bit more time D, D, D, Hd... which is the best possible outcome cos i never get Hds for ACST units.)
