i got so excited yesterday when i got a letter with the board of studies symbol on the front...
i was like "could this be....!"

but no.
it was a letter saying my appeal for drama had been accepted.

one of my friends found out she was nominated last night! i think bos called her

me too, but with lesser options like multimedia and performance poetry they'd only choose 1 max

so not only 50/50 but it would have to be chosen above other 50/50s etc

mine wouldnt have been chosen due to some grammatical errors

how do you know it was because of grammatical errors?

I meant that as a distinguishing factor it would not be chosen over other 50/50s because of grammatical errors. Showcase entries are judged over and above the mark value

oh, and possibly wouldn't get in either due to copyright on a few of those images (though I acknolewdged most of the sources). few multimedia ones get in because of it.

I guess they go for the more traditonal pieces like critical response/short story
