Every state varies the date to which applications may be put in. It is not usually June/July or any time earlier in some cases. Your careers teacher will inform you when the dates approach. Don't fret as it's ages away now and the teachers will certainly not let you go uniformed.

Check VTAC, UAC, QTAC, SATAC (etc) websites for dates if you wish (some may be released months down the track).
