I'm working full-time so don't plan on attending my lectures. Does anyone know when the first set of lecture notes start to get put up on WebCT? Is it before the Week 1 lectures or after?

When the lecturer feels like to put them out.
Sometimes they go up before lectures, sometimes after...

Isnt this assuming the lecturer decides to release notes at all?

As my ELEC1011 lecturer said in the WebCT forums one time after two guys couldn't agree on something...

Lets all get along, harmoniously

Anyone go to the FINS2624 and ACCT2522 lectures this week and find out when the guy was putting lecture notes/slides up?

My webct still has nothing...

I think for ACCT2522 she said that the lecture notes will be put up soon, probably today, and normally they will be up 1 week in advance.

The slides for FINS2624 are already up.

Where are the slides up? My semester 1 2006 courses haven't even been added to WebCT yet.

Nevermind, I didn't know that there was a new WebCT called Vista.

Yeah, how bad is that feeling?

It's like, "Here I am, WILLINGLY allowing adware and spyware enter my system :D"

*Hates IE with a vengeance*

IT at UNSW have to make WebCT Vista compatible with Firefox!

It WORKS with Firefox. I use Version 1.5.0.1 and it still works.

However, the Java popup says this:

Browser Check

This browser is either non-validated or unsupported for use with WebCT Vista.

It appears that you are using Firefox® Version 1.x browser.

You can view the full list of supported browsers at our Web site.
So even though it works, it isn't supported by Vista.

And do you like seeing big red crosses on the Browser Check Results screen? And the message: "Errors were detected. Please scroll down to see the errors in your browser configuration"?

Unless Firefox 1.0 doesn't give you these results ..

firefox 1.0 to be exact.
Barely. It pretty much causes my firefox to suffer extreme memory leaks every second or third time I try to use it.

i'm using Firefox 1.5 with Vista as well...not sure if its just me (or coz its firefox, or coz its Vista), but seems like there is a bug....when I click on 'announcements' the top frame with the blue heading thing, links to annoucnment, mail, discussion etc ...disappears...and then can't get anywhere.

i wonder if we all send emails to the 'feedback' thingy with "make it compatible with FIREFOX!" will there be any changes....coz i refuse to use IE other than checking that my own websites display correctly on IE!
