Hello!

Could someone give me a rundown/ overview of some engineering specialisations?

I'm particularly interested in civil, computer science, computer engineering.

Civil: design of large scale man-made structures such as bridges, roads, buildings
Computer science: application of science and mathmetics to computers. Would mainly include use of programming languages and computer systems which could be used to create software
Computer engineering: A specialisation of electrical engineering involving the design of computer hardware, and may also include the design of computer software

I can answer for civil engineering.

Essentially anything involved with Civilization is civil engineering. Civil engineering itself is quite diverse and have different sub-discipline
Structural: Bridge, dam, culverts, buildings
Civil: earthworks, road, rail/track, drainage, geotech, traffic
