I'm dong Indochina - I haven't really started on it yet, I just finished Russia and am moving onto WW1 and the aftermath, but I did a little bit of Indochina last year and loved it so I'm excited to start it again this year.

I'm doing the Cold War, but we haven't really starte on it. We had to do an assessment on it, but that involved our own research.

Conflict in Indochina. Finished the topic, it was the first one we did. Excellent topic, its even better when your school organises an excursion to Vietnam for it...!
Well, that's hardly fair. Why can't I go to Ireland (and find me an Irish guy)?

i'm doing the cold war. mid way through it i guess and i really like it. its better then the national study but theres just so much to learn for this and the essay's are so much harder but at least i'm interested enough to bother doing the homework and essays at the moment. maybe that will help in the long run

Awww. The memories. But at our school, the Y11 Vietnam Trip is a tradition, spanning a decade!

I'm depressed. My school is not exciting and we do not do exciting things. They tried to organise a study camp at the exciting location of a caravan park an hour's drive away. It never eventuated because nobody could be bothered to pay the $100 cost.

I repeat: it's not fair.

Well. My teacher can't even get the kids to pay 5 bucks for a lecture at Darling Harbour or so, let alone an overseas trip. Sigh.

I've been to Vietnam before though...
