hey guys,

i was just wondering for biology which is the better option module to choose out of:

communication or genetics: breaking the genetic code or whatever it is.

any adv/disadv of each good/ bad whatever.

Your Lucky, At my school we don't get to pick which option we do for all of our sciences. I'm doing genetics next year because that's what the teacher likes...

nah we dont get to pick. but im coming first in the subject so i have sort of a little push on which we should go for. i can be quite influential at times

Mabye just have a look around the Bio fourms. There should be some good info in there.

communication is very interesting- its mostly about the human body.
genetics code- focuses more on genetics, so if u liked blueprint, youll like this one. but its much harder because of dihybrid crossing etc. have a lot of rote learning.


my opinion: communication is the best because it is the more interesting- it is very physiological and its something that you can relate to yourself as well. also have lots of dissection as pracs haha.
most of the genetic code stuff is rote learning and it will confuse the heck out of you even more because u learn more about the dna and its very microbiology based syllabus.

My school does Communication, most people enjoy it and i think it is the most popular option for schools to do.
I'm a genetics nerd so I'd personally love to more on genetics in that code unbroken one.
