Much easier said than done bro...agreed with all aforementioned responses, mining is currently possibly the best, I knew a guy who upon graduation managed to land a job 150k a year? As in money to actually learn from the more experienced engineers as well to begin with (since he had just graduated). He basically works for 2 weeks, flies back home rests for 2 weeks, then goes back for 2 weeks and repeats the cycle for now.
Drawbacks is that time away from home though, I think he has to go all the way down to somewhere in WA from sydney...
But yeah biomedical engineerings on the rise, as well as anytype of power engineering, I'd place my bets on the renewable energy engineering courses, like solar, wind, geothermal. They seem to be becoming more and more prominent.
