Incase you find out actuarial isn't for you in your first year and you want to transfer to a normal B.Comm or Maths degree then UNSW is certainly more reputable. Overall having UNSW over Macquarie just looks better even if Macquarie has reputation for acturial studies. If everything else is equal go UNSW simply because of the prestige factor, otherwise try to find other reasons to compare such as life and distance from home(signficantish factor), there's no real big difference as both are quite equal in quality, especially now that UNSW is doing a degree just for actuarial studies.(not that it was any worse before)
