I do economics by distance education from Camden Haven High School down in Port Macquarie. Started rather late, less than 2 weeks ago. I'm up to title page 6.

I'm actually meant to be doing it right now, this is my allocated time but seriously lacking the motivation and it's rather noisy in here.

Does anyone else find the stuff they give you bad? The notes are rather bad and the questions rather vague and confusing.

There's actually quite a few kids doing distance ed at my school. 2 doing French, 1 doing Physics and 1 doing SDD.

i have already noticed though that i work much better at home where i dont have any need to socialise, i also get very distracted using bored of studies at skool

It is pretty hard doing it at school. Most of the time I just do extension maths homework instead or talk to little kids.

same as me!! lol

with business studies i get these massive booklets and only have to do 1 or 2 pages, atm im ok with the work and my understanding (thankyou yr 12 :) ) but i can see that it gets much, much harder -

i think business studies is basically just remembering stuff, is that the same for economics??

As for motivation i suggest one weekend just sit down and do a whole bunch of work, get heaps far ahead and only send it once a week, that way you look like your working on it every week but you're really not :)

Yeah thats what I have, about 40 pages of notes with 10 pages of work to do.

Nearly all of it is just rembering stuff but a great deal of the work is thinking up examples or putting examples into categories. Sometimes a little difficult.

I did that last weekend when I was actually motivated, now it's been pushed back to the holidays.

At the moment its just when I finish work in other classes or my *insert favourite descriptive expletive here* english teacher is rambling on I just do some of it.
