Well from the election count night at manning bar, based on all but stacked votes:
1. Lauren
2. Katy
=3. Simon
=3. Angus
5. Jackson
6. Marc

It's unlikely that stacked votes will change this.

Well Honi didn't explicitly say that, it just said two of the gay candidates had slept together.

What, doug can't be gay. I made gay jokes with him.

Angus. I think he's in the closet. I always manage to piss him off by screaming out "hey angus. if you cover the g on your shirt, you'll get anus"

I'm so glad that commerce liberal fuck didn't get elected. everyone thought he was a shoo-in.
Wait, unless his name is Simon. Then that would suck.

Jackson only got elected because he had the engineering vote. He was stumbling around wentworth drunk promissing everyone maccas at wentworth if he's elected.

I kind of like the "newtown thai" at wentworth idea, if we do privatise. I think lauren had it.

Mark is good looking? Perhaps you associated mark with someone else who spoke on behalf of him, grk_styl. I'm a straight guy, but I don't see how he could be attractive. He's a nerdy looking guy.

His name is Simon. It does suck.

As always. Engineering candidates are always elected on the back of promises for better amenities for Engineering, such as the long-promised bar. They never materialise.

Angus is actively in a queer collective.
Yes, Simon would be that "commerce liberal fuck", and given the amount of shit we copped from just about everyone even slightly left from centre, I think it's a real testament to how good a candidate he is.
Jackson did ride home on the engineering vote, but that's not to say he won't make a good board member, he has a lot of good ideas, engineering does need a representative, and he's a top bloke to boot.
As for Marc, I'd hit it.

EDIT: Techie: As opposed to Angus, who ran the exact same campaign as the main Labor Left candidate last year? Obviously none of that materialised either. And I think if these engineering facilities are going to appear any time, it will be within the next 2 years because when VSU comes in they're going to need something to get the engineers to sign up, because if things keep going the way they are now, most will opt out of the fees.

No, I can't see him as being a good candidate. And it's not because I'm off centre left either (I didn't vote angus, or anyone else based on the fact that they're 'lefties'. I voted Marc first, who is a liberal from what i understand). It's because I see him as an idiot. He is absolutelly arrogant. He was walking around whilst someone representing Marc was speaking saying "she's a slut. a communist". Ok, there's nothing like some humour, but the way he was saying it was bullshit. With VSU, the union will have less money. I can't see him utilising that money well. He is a class-A idiot.

Jackson is an OK bloke. I went to school with him. I really hope he doesn't follow through with maccas. I don't understand what he was promissing? It seemed like he didn't even campaign. First I'd heard of him was on voting day. When I saw him pissed at the cafeteeria. "VOTE FOR ME!" He slurred.

I think the "she" might have been referring to someone from the socialist alliance, who had been harrassing us for weeks, and on election day a few of them physically attacked members of the campaign, so he was understandably pissed off.

and how do u conclude this? this would have been prior the the 'physical harassment' as it was the day before election day. I doubt she was on the socialist alliance. She kept saying when I was talking to her how it's good how Marc's beliefs are on the cusp of both left and right wing. She also said they didn't really believe in cutting funds, that's not a very socialist practice.

besides that - is it justified calling her a slut and communist if she was in the socialist alliance? She didn't go around saying "he's a fuckwit. he's a facist."

To tell you the truth, Simon's vote was lost to me long ago. he was handing out leaflets and kinda pulled his hand away so as not wanting to give me one. I took it anyway and he asked "are you an economics and bus student?"
"yes, why?"
"you don't look like one. are you sure?"

So, if I dress slightly left wing, I shouldn't be targeted by him? Funny thing is, I was looking at some of his promotional stuff before and thought that I will give him a vote.

Are you sure he was referring to the person you were talking to? Because he preferenced Marc 3rd, and it would seem unlikely that he would try to sabotage his campaign. But if that is indeed true, then I'm not going to defend him for doing that.
