I Wish i could've seen them when they had released Kid A and Hail to the Thief.. Those are two of my favourite albums ever

Edit: OK Computer is also a masterpiece but i was very young

There's talk of radiohead coming out late june/early july.
BUT the main reason they don't tour as often as other bands is because of the whole "planes ruin the environment" thing that thom yorke is obsessed with.

Unwritten Law.

The greatest performer should be a band who draws the crowd in, whether in an intimate location or not- and just puts 100% on the line, and enjoys themselves.
pyrotechnics and big screens shouldn't be what determines this.

I've never seen anyone come out of a Law gig disapointed, hence, them.

Did you see The Stooges at the BDO? Man Iggy can work the stage like a mofo. Too bad hes gone back on his legacy working with jet, releasing the weirdness etc

it was an especially special show because it was the last one of the year and the tour, and just a few days before christmas, so it was like an awesome party. and he had bishi playing with him on some songs. it was just wonderful.
i mean, it was the whole occasion that was particularly memorable for me: being in london, and then going to the afterparty, meeting awesome people... i'll never forget it.

without a doubt it would have to The Ramones - It's Alive

the single greatest live act ever, no question
qft.

They did have a lot of practice though, 2,263 concerts over 22 years.

June/July eh? I'm keen.

By no means certain, so if it doesn't happen...im not a lying whore.
just putting it out there.
I'm more than keen more a radiohead experience...one of my favourite bands yet i havent had the pleasure of them live.
I personally was hoping for an appearance at BDO next year.
MASSIVE fail.
On a happier note, i'm going to see Franz Ferdinand/The Cribs in Jan.
Word is, the Cribs are bloody amazing live.
Last band i saw was muse, so they're going to have to work hard to compete with them.

There can be no definitive greatest live act ever,

but the best for me are:

Jimi Hendrix
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Radiohead
The Mars Volta
My Morning Jacket
