Absolutely HATE Labor and the average Labor voter; loathe the Liberals because they're no longer the party of individual freedoms and they've not been vocal on individual rights, a bill of rights and the motherfucking INTERNET GODDAMN FUCKING CENSORSHIP.
Also Rudd has done *absolutely NOTHING*. Disgraceful.
Nah, I'm gonna vote Greens and Sex.John Oliver said:DAMN IT SLIDEY.
Damn it to jazz the false dichotomy
Most of it, yeah.Josip Broz Tito said:has krudd actually been in australia this past year?
What do you think of this new health funding package, katie?katie tully said:Anywhere but from health. Maybe these fat bastards in office can take a pay cut, maybe they can stop funding lavish holidays for overseas doctors, maybe we should stop funding shit like WYDs...
Take it away from like sport or some shit, idk
Dude the Liberals are playing coy on this issue for a very good reason: the longer they let Conroy think he has a chance of getting this through, the more he looks like a cunt to the general electorate.John Oliver said:I will never in good conscience be able to vote for any party other than the LDP/Greens/Sex Party (If they get up and I can vote for them).

He uploaded the video here. You should watch it. It's priceless to see Senator Conroy try to squirm his way around answering the question. He doesn't actually answer it in the end.Hi,
Thanks for getting in touch with the Greens regarding the internet censorship issue – I’m just letting you know that I’m going to be raising the issue in the Senate today, and you can watch the broadcast live online here:
http://webcast.aph.gov.au/livebroadcasting/
In the Senate question time at about 2:30PM eastern summer time today I plan on asking Communications Minister Stephen Conroy about his project for mandatory internet censorship, the so-called ‘clean feed’ which you’ve written to me about.
If you miss the broadcast I’ll have the transcript and a video clip here as soon as possible: http://scott-ludlam.org.au/
Depending on the Minister’s answer, you might like to give him a call on (02) 6277 7480 or email him on senator.conroy@aph.gov.au
This proposal has raised major concerns in the online community – thanks for taking the time to add your voice to this debate.
Cheers,
Senator Scott Ludlam
Communications spokesperson for the Australian Greens
IDK Slidey, it's not just the money thing... It's the entire management issue. Yay this money is great, but I sooooo disagree with them not negotiating the indexation. The money will just get injected in and some hapless idiots will piss it away as usual and in 6 months we'll be back where we are now.The Commonwealth upped its offer from $11 billion to $15.1 billion, but rejected States' demands for an increase in the annual indexation of health funding.
How ironic.Iron said:Slidey, that is a private communication between you and Senator Scott Ludlam. You have breached the confidentiality inherent in the Senator's email and therefore must pay the maximum penalty.
My people will be in contact with you shortly
Agreed.katie tully said:IDK Slidey, it's not just the money thing... It's the entire management issue. Yay this money is great, but I sooooo disagree with them not negotiating the indexation. Fuck you're shit.alexdore993 said:Agreed.
What do we call this cyclic waste? We call it the Labor States.
Management inside the system, not just at a political level.Trefoil said:Fuck you're shit.
Katie isn't saying health funding is a waste, she's saying it's not enough, since it's not indexed as high as is needed (as well as the management being shit, which, after a decade of Liberals, is fairly easy to blame on them - but it's actually a fairly non-partisan issue).
Lol mumkatie tully said:Management inside the system, not just at a political level.
Ladder climbers with 5 degrees but shit all clinical frontline experience do not make good managers...
